Teleprompter (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Teleprompter mobile application and this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. We may collect scripts, notes, contact details, and other information you choose to enter or send to us. Scripts are used to provide the app’s teleprompter features.

Information collected automatically. We may receive device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate location, and diagnostic or usage information such as feature interactions and crash data. We use this information in aggregate where possible.

Purchases. App Store purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s terms and privacy policy govern its processing.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Teleprompter; save your preferences and scripts; respond to support requests; diagnose problems; communicate service updates; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us host, analyze, secure, and support the app, under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing privacy@teleprompter.app. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to restrict processing, object, or receive a copy of your information. You can control device permissions through your device settings and stop marketing messages at any time.

5. Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, legal requirements, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no service can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Children's privacy

Teleprompter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Changes and contact
