Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Teleprompter mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. The Service

Teleprompter provides tools for writing, displaying, and recording against scrolling scripts. Features may change, be added, or be discontinued. The Service is provided for personal and professional use in accordance with these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter these Terms. You are responsible for your device, your account credentials if applicable, and all activity under your account. Keep your information accurate and notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of scripts, recordings, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and back up Your Content only as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for Your Content.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where law permits, upload malware, violate another person’s rights, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity.

5. App Store terms and purchases

If you download Teleprompter through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store rules also apply. Payments, subscriptions, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under its applicable terms. We may offer paid features and will present pricing before purchase.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, and content created by us, belongs to Teleprompter or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for the Service’s intended purpose.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that the Service will meet every requirement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teleprompter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding 12 months, or 100 USD if you paid nothing.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or where necessary to protect the Service. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will survive.

10. Changes and contact
